G’s Little OT is a predominantly clinic based service that provides assessments and regular therapy sessions. We are passionate about providing cost effective and quality services and so provide both occupational therapist and allied health assistant sessions.
Welcome to G’s Little OT – Nurturing Growth Through Play and Purpose
Located in Buccan and proudly supporting families across the greater Logan region, G’s Little OT offers specialised early intervention
occupational therapy for children from infancy through to 12 years of age.
At G’s Little OT, we help children build the skills they need for everyday life, the occupations of childhood. Think of a child’s typical day:
sleeping soundly, getting dressed, eating independently, managing big emotions, playing with friends, or focusing in the classroom. Our
therapy supports your child to develop the confidence and capabilities to participate in these meaningful moments with greater ease and joy.
Your child may require occupational therapy to support:
Why Has Someone Referred My Child to Occupational Therapy?
If your child’s teacher, GP, paediatrician, or another health professional has suggested occupational therapy, it’s often because they’ve noticed
a challenge in your child’s development or daily functioning. This might include difficulties with gross motor skills (e.g., keeping up with peers in
physical activities), emotional regulation (e.g., managing big feelings at home or school), or independence in everyday tasks.
Our occupational therapists are experienced in assessing children’s developmental progress and identifying strategies to support them in
reaching their full potential. We take pride in our evidence-based, up-to-date knowledge of developmental delays and neurodiversity and we
tailor our support to meet your child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.
If you’re still unsure whether occupational therapy is right for your child, we warmly invite you to give us a call. Our friendly team is always
happy to chat and we never charge for initial phone enquiries. We’re passionate about supporting families in our community and are here to
help you navigate the next steps with confidence.
